Salary

Regular:up to 16 800 zł + VAT

Senior:up to 25 200 zł + VAT

What do we need from you?

We are looking for a skilled Python developer, willing to be embedded in an experienced development team of our British client - Man (Man it is not only a fintech branch, search more for man.com/tech-articles). We need a self-starter who can solve fairly abstract problems with limited supervision focusing on the backend of our client software system. This is an exclusive opportunity to work outside of the UK with Man Group available with STX Next.   • Having experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, Jenkins, MongoDB, and computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms).
  • Being a confident communicator; able to argue a point concisely and deal positively with conflicting views.
  • Intellectual robustness with a keenly analytic approach to problem-solving.
  • Curiosity to solve problems.
  • Being self-organized with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and with contending business demands and priorities.
Must have:
  • Strong commercial experience in Python backend development.
  • Familiarity with different programming styles (OO, functional) and Design Patterns.
  • Experience in best practices of collaborative software engineering (Agile, CI/CD, TDD, Code Reviews, Software Architecture, Refactoring).
  • Familiarity with current standards and technologies.
  • Open to learning new things.
  • Good understanding of working with data pipelines.
  • Modern database knowledge and how to scale data processing.
  • Strong problem-spotting skills.
  • Experience in using code versioning tools like Git.
  • Proficient on Linux platforms with knowledge of various scripting languages.
  • Very good command of English (C1/C2) and Polish.
Nice to have:
  • Understanding of Data Engineering and Big Data.
  • Experience with public cloud vendors as our client migrates to the cloud.
  • Some basic understanding of frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, Angular, Vue or React skills are also very welcome.
